Pictures of the sheriffs of Mower County from the period of 1856 through 1977 were restored and posted in the Law Enforcement Center by Al Reinartz. The Mower County Law Enforcement Center has a photo gallery showing almost all of the Mower County sheriffs from 1856 to 1977. Missing are the first sheriff, G.W. Sherman, who served from April to October, 1856; and also missing is George Bishop, 1859-1861.
