Ida was the wife of Frank Bainbridge Waterman. After the death of her
husband, Ida was left to support their two little children about ages 8
and 9.
According to the 1900 Federal Census for Choteau, Teton County, Montana,

Ida and her children Dana and Dean were living with her brother Harry Ferris,
her widowed sister, Emma J. Bacorn, and Emma's eight year old son Donald.
Ferris Furtney of Austin Minnesota stated that his grandmother, Ida was
a Methodist minister and teacher of elocution and physical culture giving
programs titled, Elocution, Oratory, Logic and Music for the public.
