M.J. Haney
M.J. Haney, alderman from the Second ward, is engaged in the sale of flour and feed. He also deals in oil meal, which he buys in car load lots. The business was established by him in 1889. Mr. Haney is a native of Dane County, Wisconsin but he came to Austin from Osage, Iowa where he had resided several years.
He was engaged in railroading three years before his present business was established. In the spring of 1895 he was elected to represent the Second ward in the city council.
